“Nemo is an exceptionally bright and a hard worker. He has an excellent attitude and adapts and learns quickly. He is a team player. I highly recommend him.”
Gary B., Petrophysist
“I have worked with Nemo on numerous occasions. He is an extremely hard worker and is willing to put in the extra effort and is always trying to improve his technical language knowledge and skill. I found him to be a excellent translator.”
Frank P., Engineer
“I worked with Nemo Cheung for nearly two years. In that time I got to know Nemo and his talents very well. Nemo is a dedicated worker and colleague who will always go the extra step to ensure that a job is done with the utmost professionalism. His translation skills are superior. Nemo not only understands the literal translations but has such good skill with the English language that he will understand what meaning to convey. I completely trust Nemo and will seek his help again when I return to China. Please feel free to contact me with questions or if I could be of further help regarding Nemo Cheung.”
Michael T., Sr. Engineer
“I was a Consulting Drilling Superintendent working for *** in Sichaun Province, China, working out of Chengdu. Nemo worked on the rig for us as a technical interpreter. He reported directly to the Drilling Supervisor on the rig who, in turn, directly reported to me. Nemo is a bright, energetic, industrious young man. He was very interested in learning all about our drilling operations. He was not afraid to ask questions and very quickly was able to assist our drilling supervisor with duties beyond those of only an interpreter. The more he learned the better he was able to bridge the gap between our English-speaking supervisors and the Chinese-speaking rig manager & crew. Our oilfield language is filled with slang & jargon which cannot be translated directly without causing confusion. Nemo's personality made him a joy to be around on the rig. It's hard work & sometimes stressful, but Nemo attacked every request with a smile and a can-do attitude. You get more than a technical interpreter when you hire Nemo. You get a man who will enthusiastically learn your business and expand his duties and responsibilities as far as you allow him.”
Jerry C., Drilling Superintendent
“Nemo worked in our drilling group for over two years as an interpreter/drilling technician. He is a very fast learner (rig duties) as well as an excellent interpreter. Excellent attitude and will perform well in most any position.”
Woodie B., Drilling Supervisor
“I had the pleasure of working with Nemo during our time on *** Resource China's *** project. Nemo is an exceptional young man. Gifted, driven, and conscientious, I'm sure he will excel at whatever he endeavors to do.”
Dennis B., Operation Superintendent
“It was my pleasure to work for *** Resources in Sichuan Province between October 15, 2009 through October 12, 2010. I served in the position of Drilling Superintendent until the rig was released. During that time Mr. Nemo Cheung worked for us as an interpreter at the rig. But it does not accurately describe the job function Nemo performed. Nemo was far more than an interpreter. Our company Drill-site managers (DSM’s) came to rely on Nemo for many duties above his position as interpreter. The DSM’s came to rely on Nemo to perform many duties when simultaneous activities were going on. If the DSM needed to be in two places at one time, he would assign Nemo to supervise one of the activities. He was willing and able to take on these additional duties whenever asked. He has a tremendous attitude in his work and desires to accomplish the task to the best of his abilities. He was invaluable to *** operations for the manner in which he worked. His ability to handle logistics in a professional manner is impressive. He was constantly reading information to learn more about the drilling process and drilling equipment. He is a fast learner. His computer skills are first-rate and his people skills are even better. Had the project continued, we hoped to make him a night DSM. Unfortunately, the rig was released and we were not able to do that. *** thought enough of him though to assign him duties in the field working with the production department. I have been told his work there has been outstanding as well. Nemo is a special person who, with some training, could learn to perform any job in my opinion.”
